We are very proud to announce that VCT’s own, Stu MacLeod has won this year’s Pacific Coast Coffee Association PCCA Cupper Of The Year Award.
PCCA’s Annual Cupping Competition
For the last 13 years the cupping has been held at the Annex and honors green coffee legend, Pete McLaughlin. A few weeks ago Stu was honored at the Pacific Coast Coffee Association Conference in Bend, Oregon for matching his cupping skills against what the judges determined were the top Peruvian coffees in the flight of ten. This is for sure no easy task, as it is not easy to determine flavor profiles in Peru coffee.
This is the second time Vournas Coffee Trading has been honored with this award. In 2006 my brother Mike won the 6th Annual PCCA Cupper Of The Year award. Congrats Stu! Keep up the good work!
